What effect does adding whey to milk or to oats and water have on its absorbtion, metabolism etc and nitrogen balance? Can oats water and whey do same job as egg whites followed by oats and whey say?

I think whey taken in milk is a slower release... i think its recommended for before bedtime so its released slowly through the night
