Eating and yore ma come to mind after reading this but I AM actually with Tar on this one. I have been known to frequent such dioceses of culinary buggery in the past, but not recently.

My increasingly dominant belief in veg*ism has pushed me acres/yards/miles/perrenial kilometers towards what I believe to the only way to dine, whether it be at home or out, and that is: do not kill a living, central nervous system-carrying being for the purposes of food when there are any number of other ways to maintain yourself, your health and your being - to just as high a standard.

In saying that though, they both do horrible chips.

BK burgers are generally nicer, except their chicken burgers.

Supermacs is actually nicer than both of them.

Personally, I think Burger Kings win hands down. I find McDondald far too salty.

Now, as for the question of whether or not these things are truly "chips"...I suppose they are actually what most people would consider fries but, to be honest, I feel like a bit of my Irish self dies when I say that word. I prefer to call them chips.

As for supermacs. Well, they are too dry and, I believe, only pallatable when eaten with red sauce! (note, I'd never call it ketchup)

I probably should have added it into the poll at the start but the results would be pretty skewed if I put it in now!

I've eaten mcfries hundred, if not thousands of times in my life and I can confirm that they have left my body.
I'm guessing that stomach acid had something to do with it.

Supermacs? Don't get me started.

Their fare is only best consumed after a substantial hunger strike and a fist-load of mind-altering drugs, and even then it tastes like the rejects left out overnight in the bin from McDonalds R&D lab in the states.
