Forum Poll

As this forum has expanded considerably since the last attempt at finding out who we have on here, I thought it might be an idea to get a breakdown of who our regulars are, i.e role etc as there seems to be quite a few newbies. Therefore a poll seems like the way forward.

It would be appreciated if all regular forum readers (even you lurkers) take part.

Genuine Polis but not as old as Deadwood and Clara it would appear :P

May I suggest removing Trolls from lurkers and general? Bit insulting to civvies that are just interested and actually interact positively.

Think only mods can do it, also think it resets the poll count too. Dont hold me to that though im not 100% on it

nog can do it and it leaves the results as they are even if he deletes a persons answer. hes only a mini mod

Ah ok. Well the last option was intended to read: I am a civvie with a general interest or I am a lurker or I am a troll (trolls should be able to vote too ). I wasn't implying that all civilians are trolls.....

Maybe a mod could substitute the Troll option for Retired/Ex-ES?

Interesting poll, In the Garda statistics it appears the wooden tops who post here seriously outnumber the crime fighting detectives.

Insert 'people who nick prisoners and cases when the hard work is done if its a good case then dont even leave the unfirom on as reporting' for 'crime fighting detectives' and your spot on

Poll options altered to remove the troll bit.

I've also added an option for former members, don't seem to be able to make multiple votes possible, which might have been useful, especially for the voluntary option. Put in an option too for coastguard and marine rescue type people, given they're the fourth statutory emergency service.

Im an aspiring medic but have interest in all areas!

Dad's a garda sergeant i/c, so thats where that interest comes from

Starting engineering next year and hoping to maybe work in the fire service(prevention etc) for a while before the ambulance service!
