Can anyone rate an Omron plc for me??? or compare it to a more well known make through the context of programming??....useability?? (if thats a word)....communication mode??......availibility??.....software??.... Ive being asked about this type of plc during the week but i have never heard of it??????>>>>???? lw

Ive only ever seen Omron PLC's in colleges. They are old chunky PLC that are easy to program. Not a lot to the ones I used in college, they would be beginner level PLC's I guess. We used to program them with teach pendants because there was no computer software available for the models we had. Their kinda like old Mitsubishi's but easier to program.
