    Hey,

Not sure if this is the right forum, but can't find one for jobs!

I was wondering if there are any digital forensic jobs around in Ireland that people know about?

I'm after finishing the LIT, MSc in Digital Forensics and Security and have been made redundant from my current job (last week)

I've been trying to look around but can't see anything and the recruitment sites are utter useless (but thats another rant for another thread for another day!)

But overall, just curious if there is anything in Ireland or did I waste two years doing this Masters for there be to no jobs in it or anything remotely linked to it?

    Any help appreciated!

    DG.

I would never call an education a waste of time, but I reckon this sort of industry is about networking and contacts.

If I were you I would set up a security blog and attend all the security conferences. Basically, anything to get your name out there.

Yeah, thats a good idea (about the blog) never thought of that... and being out of work I'll have loads of free time!

And I know about the education part, I just kinda meant I wouldn't want to have maybe chose the wrong course...

Thanks and if anybody here reads this with any contacts... ahem ;)
