Kgiller this is a fantastic shot of the clothes pegs. How did you get it so crystal clear? Do you mind letting us know what camera/settings you used?

First off, thanks for the thumbs up. Personally i wouldnt have thought it to be a great shot at all, but im glad you like it.

Photo taken with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 (nifty fifty) on Canon 400D body. The reason it is clear is because it was a sunny summer day with good light, and a great lens, fairly close to the subject, low ISO (100), large aperture (probably f1.8-f2.0), and auto focus on.

I mean, theres nothing special about how i took the shot. All i did in post processing then was to remove all the colour except the blue in lightroom, and maybe up the clarity and contrast, cant remember.

Anyway, thanks, hopes this explains it.

Bit of levity needed. This dude passed right by the car whilst I was waiting for lights to change on O'Connell bridge. So it was a scrabble and a half attaching a 20mm to the Canon A1(is200Fuji, getting it 1euro a pop for 36exp.). I had the yips too which didn't help. Banged off three shots sitting in the car before the car behind went loopy. Feckin philistine.[/CENTER]B3D2AA663D8A407895EF120AA9BAD3D8-800.jpg

Lovely shot! Is it HDR converted to mono???

Yup, it's HDR converted to mono. I found it really brings out the detail in architechture.
