You might be interested to see asfotos work on flickr, though there'll be a hell of a learning curve in getting to that level she offers free textures to help in the process, attribution of course would be in keeping with spirit of sharing. But anyway you'll see what some people could do even using a blurry shot to start with, others will know better and probably differ, but my guess is if you moved the reds slightly toward yellow to rescue the skin tones and then add a texture it would be transformed. /2c

Went to Glasgow to see the Cribs (playing with Johnny Marr). If you've ever seen the crowd reaction to the band then you would know how hard it would be to take a steady picture from the crowd.

EDIT: I just noticed that you can see the shadow of my camera and tripod in this! I put the camera on timer and I legged it so I could get my own shadow out of the photo but never dawned on me about the camera!
