Callaway X Hot driver (9.5 degree - stiff shaft) for sale here:

    http://www.adverts.ie/golf/callaway-x-hot-driver/4857188

That description is a bit misleading "adjustment tool to raise/lower loft included"

The X hot drivers do not have loft adjustment they have face angle adjustment

  • Registered Users Posts: 238 ✭✭BOB81

Not trying to be misleading and you are being pedantic in the extreme - the adjustment tool opens or closes the face changing the effective loft of the club. When the adapter is set to open (O) the face angle is opened 2.5 degrees and the effective loft drops 1 degree. When the adapter be set to closed (C) then the face will sit closed 1.5 degrees and the effective loft will increase 1 degree.

    From callaway site:
    "OptiFit Technology

X Hot’s adjustable Speed Frame Face allows you to set the face angle in an Open, Square or Closed position to fine tune the trajectory and appearance you’re looking for at address."

9.5 stiff if possible? Need to pop into my local shop tomorrow to try a few options so just going on my present driver. Realise it might not be the same, just putting the feelers out to see what's about. Thanks.

Tried of 1 or 2 putting!!!
Want a round with 40+ putts???
Then you've come to the right place :)

Only messing obvious, nice tool, poor workman here.
Selling my TaylorMade Ghost Spider S Putter, retailing at €199 in McGuirks, have it listed at €110
Any boards.ie can use the promo code *43putts* to get an extra 10% off

They mark very easily and I didn't want to go touching it up just to fool a buyer, but it can be easily brought back to "nearly" new looking.
Bought it new myself just over a year ago.

Were you using it for gardening or have you just never heard of headcovers?, seriously though I wouldn't give you €20 in it's current condition even if you had paid a grand for it.

In fairness... a bit of white touch up paint that you can pick up for nothing applied to it and a buyer wouldn't know the difference from photos... that's why I deliberately left it as it was, I'm not going to be selling it to someone only for them to be disappointed when the see/receive it, people can offer what they want and haggle all they want....over on Adverts....in fairness.

Yes I would argue he does if he thinks it's acceptable to try and flog that rubbish as some kind of bargin, but meh caveat emptor I suppose.
