Random Spurt?

    This is boob talk here..
I'm curious to know it is normal to have a growth spurt at the end of adolescence?
I've been a 34B for years and had given up all hope of renewed growth. At first my BF commented that they seemed to be getting bigger but I disregarded it. He kept insisting so I checked. I'm 19 now and over the last few months I've gone from 34B to 34D [according to size calculators]. And no, I'm not knocked up. I've been having regular periods. It's not even like I'm a 'late bloomer'; I had my first period when I was 11...

you're 19, you're still growing. believe it or not people continue to grow in every sense until they hit their mid 20's

Thats probably it then. Excess weight goes everywhere, not that I'm saying you're fat, just if you've put on weight it heads everywhere, including your boobies,

And when you loose weight, it's one of the first places it leaves too ;)

it can happen. At 19 I was a 34 A and thought that I would never have a chest but then over the years they grew (naturally) now Im a 34 F so they change all time. They say you should get measured every six months, so it must be pretty common for them to change size.

fair play on the weight loss!

surely they've gone down a back size or two??

cup size might not change, but i'd have thought back size would?

I've gone down a back size alright, but the cup hasn't changed at all, and in fact in certain bras I've had to go up a cup. (38DD -> 36DD, sometimes 36E)

thats odd, you'd think cup size would decrease with that amount of weight loss.

and i repeat- major kudos on the weight loss!

I thought I had finished growing at 20, they decided otherwise, went from 36C to 36DD.

I fear they plan to keep going. . .

Some people have a lot of glandular tissue and little fat...some have a lot of fat. You're probably one of those with lots of glandular tissue.

my aunt used work in a department store in england.
years ago a man came into the shop and said he wanted to buy a bra for his wife
so she asked him what size

she said he looked totally flummoxed, and eventually said "theyre like medium oranges!"

I've seen this happen in some of my friends. They were perfectly fine twenty something males and all of a sudden they started to develop A-Cups/moobs. :D
