    Hi

Just wondeirng if anyone can advise. Over the last three months my waist has increaed from 27 to 29inches and my chest from 34 to 35.5. My thighs have also increased but i think this is muscle. My weight has not increased - 60kg at 5ft 6inches

I don't know why my waist is getting bigger, its starting to get frustrating. Do I have too much stomach work? My workout is for toning and is as follows.

35 minutes treadmill (3 minutes warmup, 10 minutes at speed 10kpm, 5 minutes at speed 10 with incline 3, 5 minutes at speed 10 and incline 4, 5 minutes at no incline and speed 11.5 and 5 minutes at no incline andspeed 13, 2 minutes cool down)

    Tricep dip - 6kg 2 sets of 15
    Bicep bar bell - 10kg 2 sets of 15
lunges with weight - 4kg in each hand and 60 lunges
squats with bell swing - 6kg and 60 squats
    side lateral raises - 2 set 15 at 4kg
    ab curl with weight (raising leg) - 6kg 2 sets x 20
    pressup on ball - 2 sets 15
ab curls on ball - 2 sets by 40
ab curl on floor with ball between legs - 2 sets by 15

    Diet is a typical example:

    Breakfast
Bowl of cereal fruit n fibre with skimmed milk or bowl of porridge made with water and raisins

    Snack
    Apple

    Lunch
Brown bread sandwich - filling either ham salad or salmon/tuna salad (salad is cucumber/tomato/lettuce)

    Snack
    Apple/Orange

    Dinner
Varies but tends to be fish with veg and potatoes or a stirfry with chicken.

    Evening
    Kiwi or orange

I have water, tea and coffee during the day.

At weekend I have couple of glasses of wine and maybe bar of choclate.

I workout 4-5 days a week in the mornings before breakfast.

U do weights before breakfast or cardio cos weights b4 breakfast is not so effective- You cant get a good workout in! Also are you giving your muscles enough time for recovery? Day off between weight workouts? Diet looks good! Your abs are probably bulging under the lair of fat cos of all that ab work- ease up on it is my advice and stick to the hiit! Wont be long!

While I didn't count the calories there, that doesn't seem like alot - what is your definition of toning, may I inquire?

I am looking to tone by thighs, waist and upper body (arms, chest). My diet is typical and what I normally eat, I don't count calories and assume it must be about 1500 per day or so.
