Buying LCD TV in the North

    Hi,

I'm looking for advice on buying an LCD TV in Northern Ireland (I live in Dublin).

I did the usual search for products in 'The South' but was very disappointed to find that most of the models available were old - For example, Samsing 37" series 4 was the latest model I came across and the price they were looking for was ridiculous! The guy in the shop said it would be 'a while' before they got the more recent models in.

Hoping to source later model (Samsung 37A656 - Series 6) in the North and maybe get a good deal too!

Any advice on where to buy? I had a look at Currys but wasn't too impressed by either price or selection compared with mainland UK outlets. They seem to bundle products and stipulate home delivery as the only option. I just want to travel up, buy, and come home same day.

I'd go through Richersounds instead, plus they've £20 delivery for boards.ie members. Just got my LE40A686 delivered from them today, it's now sitting at home waiting for me!

    Thanks Jev/N

Had a look on Richersounds but they don't seem to have the Samsung 37A656 (have my little heart set on this baby) - Saw it on some English sites ranging from £639 to £750ish - Would love the LE40 but way too big for the room unfortunately.
