Don't owe anyone anything, especially the banks. I never had a loan and am delighted for it, not that there's anything wrong with that sort of thing.

I'm owed a couple of hundred off of friends so it's happy days money wise for me.

    €500 overdraft on joint account.
    €500 overdraft on my account.

me and the missus make about 67k a year between us + bonuses so its not that bad plus increases the credit rating.

a couple of hundred on the credit card. 11200 for my car - to be paid in January 2010. Should be able to get most of it together (without cleaning my account out) so hoping i won't need to get much of a loan to pay it.

About 2k to the credit union
and 1k on my credit card.

No Mortgage or Car loans so not too pushed...
I could clear them in a month or two if I lived on beans and toast but that would be no fun..

never realised how young everyone on boards was

owe a load on a shared house, probably in negative equity

was debt free other than that, but borrowed half the cost (20k) of my new car recently, so back in the red.

Although in saying that, I still have savings account, a savage car and motorbike..... and I'm owed about 5k from my housemates and other friends. All is well*

    Car Insurance - 700
    New tyres - 200/300

I will have the car insurance paid off by the end of the month. Then I seriously must cop on and start saving in the credit union :|

Bout 10k, falling fast. Was the cost of my Degree.

Cheap degree, how it cost you so little?

about 11K to credit union, College and car loan.
over 5K to AIB, College loan.
    300 to my Granmother.

College wasn't cheap I tell ya, and I worked for 80% of it.

Need to get some part of my car fixed, estimated to be around 550 euro, how I am going to do that I simply do not know :)

€990 overdraft, which will be cleared by the weekend!

I have €750 in savings coming out every month.
    Another €150 for Royal Liver.
    Another €300 for my pension.
    Another €500 for my rent.
Another €100 owed to the family.

Oh shit. That's outgoings of €4285 this month. Balls.

I worked alot from 1st-3rd year, start of each year I'd take out a loan for my full years rent. So, instead of paying out €60 odd quid from my wages, I'd be paying €15 odd quid to the bank, therefore giving me a good disposable income. I then qualified for a mature student grant in my final year. Any of the loans I got were never spent on booze btw !

    (just crack)

I worked for the first 3 years, worked fulltime for a year before going back to do my BA. I still had to take out a loan. Got the mature students grant too in year 4.

I'm sure I will be owing for the rest of my life :)
