    Hi,

I am interested in becoming a gym instructor / personal trainer.

Which of these courses is best? NCEF / ITEC / NCEHS

I have already signed up for the NCEF which is University of Limerick accredited, and was planning on going on to do the personal training module. I now see that it is €2445 compared to €1995 for the NCEHS one.

Then I saw the ntc website with the NCEHS qualification. I am very confused. I know they will all tell me theirs is the best one and I need an independent opinion.

    Thanks!!

on the main page of this fitness forum (top right) have a go of the search function... for the terms you are looking for (NCEF, ITEC, NTC* and then NCEHS), there have been a good number of discussions about this before...

    e.g. NCEHS vs NCEF

I keep saying it - go do a weeks intership with a trainer and then decide. You will quickly discover whats going to be of most use to you.
