Crackly ankles

I know I should probably see a doctor about this, or possibly put it in a different area of boards, but it never ceases to amaze me how knowledgeable people on after hours are:D

Thing is I recently moved into a split level flat and every time I use the stairs to either the toilet or bed my ankles crack constantly all the way up and down. Both of them, from the ankle down to the tops of my feet. Imagine if you will a person wringing bubble wrap, that's what it sounds like. Recently I've started feeling small discomfort at the top of my feet so it feels like it's having an effect. The 1st time it happened was when I was having a Thai massage in Bangkok, I was told that all your joints crack but it was just my ankles and now it won't stop :(

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I have psoriasis on my face and scalp, both controlled by off the shelf moisturiser and shampoo.

Anyway thanks for reading and I appreciate any input.

Rub strawberry jam on the effected area's twice a day - old trick known to stop crackly ankle problems.

*May or may not be true, can't remember, might've been a dream*

Thats air bubbles bursting in the synovial fluid in your joints AFAIK. I don't think it's anything serious.

Thats quite the story when all you really wanted to say was "I was having a Thai massage in Bangkok".

If its true though place small pieces of glass under each foot when you walk and you won't even notice the cracking.

My oh and me were in bed recently and our son was downstairs. Hubbie says to me 'Listen to Stephen coming up the stairs, his bones are cracking!'. We both lay quietly and listened...sure enough he was cracking like fcuk coming up the stairs..it sounded like he was wearing them things Spanish people clap together when they're flamenco dancing. I don't know what's wrong with him either:o.

Silly question maybe , but have you checked the stairs?

My toes always crack, it's really weird, walking in my bare feet every step is a few cracks.

Cider vinegar and honey is meant to be exellent for joints. Take it with cooled boiled water in the morning. Also a fish oil supplement won't do you any harm (-which I'm currently dosing my crackly son with) neither will Glucosamine - meant to be great for problems like arthritis and stuff like that. All available in Holland and Barrett or Nature's way.

He's 19 btw:D. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Imagine, a wee 7yr old coming up to bed in his jammies and us laughing at his bones cracking:o.

None of us here are doctors, except for those who are doctors.
Either way, this not not somewhere to seek medical advice.

    Do the following:
