Hi guys recently i changed my eating habits & cut out all junk food . I lost 1 and 1/2 stone in about 14 weeks. I lost it steadily and am continuing doing it day by day.

The problem is that i feel im still maintaining a flabby look. I didn't exercise during the weight loss and was told that this may be the reason im not losing my flabby look.

so i started doing this rountine every nite, below is a youtube link to routine i do. I do 3 sets of these everynight with 10 pressups included in each set.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izDf0MCR2DU

Im wondering will this help me lose my belly?? Am i am the right track. There is no gym near my so thats the reason im doing these. I can do them in my Room.

    Thanks

    Congrats on the weight loss.

For what it's worth, the fat around my belly was the last bit to go. As others will (I'm sure) add, it's very difficult / impossible to do spot reduction. Exercise will probably help flatten your tummy though I wouldn't just do ab exercises. Add other bodyweight exercises too. There are plenty of exercises you can do in your room.

See i was told that i could be my idea weight (11 stone) and still maintain a flabby look??

BTW Im 12 & 1/2 Stone now .Should the belly be mostly gone by the time i reach 11 stone??

You're on the right track already by watching what you eat and to start exercising.
IMO. I find the ab routine in the video quite intense for someone who never exercised. But if you can do it correctly go ahead although like mentioned before you need to do more muscle building exercises.

Some that work on the core muscles are the plank and pillar bridges. There are loads of variations to do those with the easy version on your knees and the hardest version on a stability ball. Google those and see what you think.
    Hope this helps.

What height are you? And what's your diet like at the moment? Are you eating decent food?

Well....it depends what you want to achieve and how much time you have, etc. etc.

So...last question....apart from the weight loss, you obviously have an ideal body shape / fitness level in mind; What is your goal?

    Hey Khannie, Im 5"7"

Diet is Mostly Good. Alot of Chicken. Fruit. Water . I Also have some rice with chicken and make a curry.
I have over chips twice a week as a treat for myself. Don;t eat chocolate, sweets or any crisps. Don't eat any hot food like wedges or sausage rolls.

My goal is to lose weight. Not to be really skinny but average. No Belly. It be nice to get rid of my man boobs aswel:P:P Is there any exercise that will work that area. Im very self-conscious about them

To lose fat around the belly you have to work the abs area and do cardio and fat burning exercises to burn off the fat around the stomach muscles. You can have a rock hard 6 pack but if its covered by layers of fat you wont see the abs youll see the flab

Stop doing all those sit ups-Doing sit ups doesnt burn fat from ur belly, doing thigh exercises doesnt burn fat from your thighs-thats called spot reduction-watch this vid and his other ones!http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=GNqb-nBfKPM&feature=related
