Can you oven-cook frying chips?

    Will I die if I oven cook chips that are for frying? Bought them by accident:pac:

    No, you certainly won't die :D, but they might not turn out too well .. probably a bit dry since there's not as much oil/fat in them.

    Give them a little spray with oil and they will be exactly the same. I've done it too!

    I think the oven ones are partially cooked. Coat with oil as mentioned, I do this with normal oven chips too. I sometimes sprinkle spices on them which stick better if oiled.
