Looking for gym buddy (build muscle)

I'm looking for a gym buddy to do weights once or twice a week. I hate going to the gym on my own, and as a New Years resolution I'm determined to put on some muscle. Plus you need someone to spot you when benching etc..

I'm male, 19, college student living in city centre. I'm quite skinny and went through a brief phase of doing weights last summer, but I'm pretty much a beginner.

Again this isn't to lose weight and "get healthy" it is purely to bulk up. Anyone interested?

No I'm not in a gym. I've got a bench and set of weights but they're at my parent's house. I went to the YMCA gym on Aungier street once, but I didn't like it cos I was on my own. As far as I remember they have a bench, they definitely have weights, and its quite cheap too.

Get your ass over to the fitness forum, there should be plenty of people who can help ya.
I'd do it myslef but i'm in Total Fitness in Blanch which is a bit out of your way.
Join a good gym first and foremost, you need benches, squat racks and enough plates to do deadlifts.Everything else is incidental.

City centre, but don't mind traveling a small bit. I'm available most nights and some days, preferably during the week.

Can start next week after my college exams.

Go to the council gyms near dublin 2. Think theres one at tara street. They have pool and good selection free weights if their branches near me are anything to go by. You can pay as you go too.

    Hi

Im a 26 year old female professional who is a member of the Sportsco gym in Ringsend - i do alot of running and started marathon running last year but i really need to start doing weights/sit ups etc in order to tone up and strengthen,
I was thinking of doing this maybe two mornings a week - 30/40 min if anyone is interested. (the gym opens at 6.45) I know it's early and i will be asking the trainers there to put a plan together for me as a personal trainer there costs way too much! I really want a basic enough plan to get started, nothing too complicated!
    if anyone is interested...

I'm up at Westpoint, what days do you train there out of interest?

Membership is up in Feb. Have been debating between TF and Westpoint, think will stick with WP though considering the pool and proximity to my home.

Wed and Fri around 17:10 and Sunday would be around 14:30.

Will be dropping the Wed in a little while though, going to do sprint training instead. Trying to work out different training methods for my Judo/JiuJitsu.
