Only thing the PA system was as big as a peanut and couldnt be heard over the screaming .

Would have to take a 21rst PA system back in time with me for the rodies ( mal evans) to install :D

I'd like to see Nirvana/The Beatles. And research the winners of a few sporting events like horse-racing before I went back in time. Just for some pocket-money.:pac:

YEP and Istanbul 05. Carlsberg final.

I was in the Athletic Grounds in 88 watching Armagh hammer Donegal in 88 listening to a radio.

Anyway, Stephen Roche collapsing on the Tour de France, Armagh winning the AI, Kilkenny the 3 in a row, Ireland beating England in Croker in 07, Tyrone beating Dublin last year and Fermanagh beating Armagh in 05.

Non sports, the Berlin Wall falling down.

1960 world cup final: if the outcome could be changed it would save us years of hearing about it.

There wasn't a world cup in 1960. Your wish is granted.

    PML. Indeed.

    66 was better, but I prefer a 69.

Woodstock, Isle of Whight (sp) and any proper Queen performance. Some Metallica shows from '89 wouldn't go amiss either.

Would loved to have seen Nirvana. Got a ticket for the RDS gig, I was 12 at the time before he died and my mother wouldn't let me go. After her died I bought a ticket knowing it would be a prized possession, and worth loads in future auctions.

The Last Waltz - best concert ever, Van Morrison doing air kicks around the stage...

id go back to that concert performed by that mythical character Jesus where for his grand finale he cooked a fish and chip supper for everybody.

Queen or Guns n Roses would be sweet

But probably Muhammed Ali vs Joe Frazier! Suhhhweeeeet

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Samba

Would have to be James Brown.

I saw him in the RDS some time back, can't begin to imagine what he would have been like on stage back in his Prime.

Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Stones... and so many more.

Also in regard to Reggae, you get a lot of these bands floating around but it's rarely the real deal, just remnants of the original bands.

Gladiators, Abyssinians, Culture, Steel Pulse, Israel Vibration oh and of course Bob.
