Right, I'm going to sticky this and see how it goes.

All items you wish to advertise for sale post here. Your post must include a link to the item on www.adverts.ie -> a free service.

If you post your item here, you are opening yourself to criticism of your price, and unfavourable comparisons to other products. You get more visits to your ad as a positive.

The forum charter has been amended to reflect this thread. Depending on the humour of the mods at the time, and new threads which are better suited to this thread will be locked, deleted or merged.

EDIT: folks the rules of adverts specify that all dealing occurs on thread, so don't PM the OP as per the requirements of Adverts.ie. Familarise yourselves with the charter in adverts.

    Hey guys & girls,

I’m selling my Kona Coiler 2006 as I have not used it in over a year and it hardly got any use before that. It’s a size Large 19” in excellent (as new) condition due to very little use. It has just had a full service at the Bike Rack in the last few days so everything is spot on.
Full spec and pictures at http://www.konabikes.co.uk/2k6bikes/coiler_2k6.php

Anyone interested is more than welcome to come and see the bike and take it for a spin. I’m located on the southside of Dublin.

    €850 open to reasonable offers.

I am selling my Falcon Reflex MTB here. It's a good solid starter/commuter bike and has never let me down.

    Here it is:

I need to get somewhere near the asking price but I am flexible to within a few quid!!

Hi, I'm selling this Bontrager Race saddle.

**3rd & FINAL PRICE DROP** Down to only €25! BARGAIN! I will not go any lower than this! wink.gif

NOTE: I can post anywhere in Ireland for €4 / €5!

    bontragerracesaddlefy1.jpg

This is a brand new Bontrager Race Saddle for sale. It came on my brand new Trek racing bike worth €1,000 euro and is only for sale as I want a white one. This saddle has only been used once on a test ride and immediately replaced with a new one (as a result there are no marks whatsoever and would pass as a new saddle, only there is no box and tags!). It is a lightweight saddle, ideal for those people looking to lose a few grams here and there.

No reasonable offer will be rejected, but it will only be sold to the person who makes the best offer. It's in Limerick, but contact me if you live further away, we might be able to organise something! Thanks in advance! smile.gif

I think the mods should move all posts like this into the sticky at the top, just for the moment, to see how it works out.

    +1

(But if we do go that route then the sticky shouldn't allow anything other than posts pointing to adverts.ie: any further discussion should happen on adverts boards, and be deleted from here.)

Out of curiosity, why is it labelled "Colnago"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 167 ✭✭Big Mig

Because the Pedal Force frame came without transfers! So I saw them on eBay and they look okay on it!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,183 ✭✭✭Quigs Snr

I can vouch for these frames. I rode the 2006 etape on one and raced the early part of last season on it. The frames are well finished and very light. My one (size 53cm) was considerably lighter than my old Trek Madone (mine was about 990g - I built it into a bike that weighted 14lbs).

They are essentially the same mould as the Lapierre X-Lite from a couple of years back.

I'm selling one of these: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain/product/attention-disc-28911

I bought it last April for my missis, but it is a bit too big for her. It would suit anyone over 5ft 6, and up to about 5ft 10, maybe a tip over that. We would be willing to swap it for a 14inch MTB of similar spec and if it's in excellent condition.

It is in mint condition. There actually isn't any scratch on the frame. I guess there about 100km done on it, mostly on the bike lanes and a little bit of trail riding in the Phoenix Park.

Asking for €470, but any reasonable offer considered. Based in Dublin 15. I can cycle it into City Centre some day if someone is genuinely interested. It's very zippy, very nice spec, probably suit someone not weighing more than 70kg because of the 80mm fork.

Send me a message through this if you are interested.

    Thanks!

I'm selling a bit of a 'one of a kind'. Last year I was able to pick up World Champion, Cristoph Sauser's race bike (through a friend that was sorting me out with equipment). I had planned on using it but my own one was built up and ready to race so it has sat in my bike room since then.

The bike is the '06 S-Works Epic model with a few custom changes and in perfect condition. The shock was serviced by the Specialized Factory mechanic before I got it and I never even rode it.

I'm selling just the LARGE frame (seatpost clamp and headset included) and brand new S-Works seatpost.

I think I would get more on ebay or from the US but for handiness, will sell it here for now (Will revert to ebay in about a week if it's still here). I'm based in Dundrum, Dublin.

I'm looking €1,000 (funding this years racing!)

    Dudes,

Selling my Brother's Trek 7.0 FX. Bought (I paid for it) back at the end of september. We worked it out and he cycled it in and out of UCD about 20 times before he got appendicitis. He hasn't cycled it since and now passed his driving test (boo!) so he has decided he doesn't want to cycle anymore, leaving me to sell it on. EDIT: This goes down in history as one of my less intelligent moves, from now on I only buy bikes for me.

    Link to Ad here

I just took the pics tonight, the bike hasn't been cleaned since it was last used so you can see around the chainrings they are nice and shiny from lack of use. Cost €400 new so I reckon €270 is a reasonable selling price. In the end the bike is second hand so I'm not looking to sell it "as new", but I have to emphasize that it is pretty much new :).

Also have a boat load of accessories from Wiggle (yes, I am modelling the jacket) and looking for €80 for these. Would prefer not to have to split everything up, so I'm posting this for someone looking for a nice "commuter starter package".

€350 for the whole lot (€150 off new price!)

Hi, I have this box of bicycle stuff which I have collected recently. None of it is of any use to me so I might as well let someone enjoy the stuff. I have no prices on anything, so if you are interested just ask. I'm not doing this to make money, I just want to get the stuff off my hands. I would be glad to get rid of it!

Bear in mind that I am based in Limerick. You can either come collect it, I can arrange to meet if it suits, or you can pay the cost of postage by PayPal. Its up to you!
Here we go....(don't worry if the numbers in the pictures don't correspond!)

1: Giro E2 Helmet. This helmet has been crashed! Please do not expect a new helmet. In the pictures, I really pulled it apart to show you the crack. It might do as helmet-camera mount or simply to salvage the parts on it. Do not expect this helmet to save your life though!

    1helmetod9.jpg

2: Two Cateye wired cycle computers. Velo 8 & Mity 3. When changing bikes, the only thing left was the main unit. Both work perfectly and will be supplied with a brand new battery. I do have one handlebar bracket with the speed sensor (but the fork bracket and spoke magnet are not included). This could be a DIY cheap computer job or else just a face lift for current Cateye users. NOTE: Spare parts can probably be got from Cateye dealers or online!

    2cateyecomputersme4.jpg
    3cateyebracketar4.jpg

3: BBB Bottle Cage (Blue). Minor use, would pass as new! Colour doesn't match the new bike so I have to get rid of it! Will be supplied with as many bottle cage bolts as you like (I've too many to count!)

    4bottlecagezg5.jpg

4: Toe-Clip Pedals. Brand new as they were taken off the bike day one and were replaced by clipless ones. Never used. I also have some strap/toe clips which can be attached to standard pedals.

    5toeclipplatformpedalssz7.jpg

5: Rear LED Light (Red). This is a fairly bright light to be honest. I don't use it but someone else will! One bracket available, so you pick between the Blue (3 LEDs) or the Black (1 LED) versions.

    10rearledlightdl0.jpg

6: Front light. Basic light for the cyclist who just wants to be seen. I'll be honest, its not brilliant or anyhing and is quite bulky, but it is better than nothing! Be safe.

    8standardbulblighted9.jpg

Other bits I have lying around are: Presta Valve Caps, Presta rim nuts, Bottle Cage Bolts, Cateye handlebar bracket and plenty of reflectors!

    ADVERTS.IE

    girohexhelmet123qs5.jpg

Hi, this is a 100% brand new helmet! I genuinely haven't used it, only tried it on. If you come and have a look at it, you will see what I mean. Just believe me, I'm telling the truth. IT'S NEW!!

Anyway, I got my local bike store to knock down the price of this helmet to €75 (from €90) to match the price of it here on Wiggle. It is a great helmet, but I just changed my mind. I went back to change it for another one but he said he cannot exchange helmets for hygiene reasons. What a load of crap!

It is in the small size, and has a wide rage of adjustment to fit up to 55cm. It really looks lovely and the pictures don't do it justice. It has a lovely matt olive finish with vibrant orange detail. The RocLoc 4 system allows for quick adjustment and the 21 stylish vents will keep you cool (and it only weighs 300grams!)

I can post it if necessary at a small extra cost, but collection in Limerick would be great aswell. It comes in the box with all the leaflets and spare pads just like as if you bought it new yourself, only you are getting it for a fraction of the price! I just want to get rid of it quick so feel free to make offers! Nothing reasonable will be rejected! Around €45, thanks! ;)

In relation to the Giro Hex Helmet I'm selling here:

    !!!***PRICE DROP***!!!
Down to only €35, the lowest I could possible sell it for! Thats less than half the price I paid for it, 46% of it (53% off) and 39% of the original price! Thats 61% off so come on and make an offer, it won't be refused! Cheers

P.S. It's brand new in the box and never used! :D I need to sell it quick!

    Right so...around €30 please!!

I bought these in November 2006. I used them for that winter but since they are a size too small, I stopped wearing them. They are size 45, which is my normal size, but they are sized a little small. They have been sitting in my wardrobe since March 2007 and have not been used since.
