Forgotten Fedora password

Hi all, I have a dual-booting pc with WindowsXP/Fedora. I havent booted into the linux os in a long time and i've forgotten what the password is. I know there is a way of getting in with editing one of the startup lines, but i've forgotten how. anyone got any ideas?

What you need to do is enter single user mode, I've never used Fedora but this thread should help:

Once you're at the # prompt,

# passwd [yourusername]

will let you change your password.

When you get to the grub screen press Esc and edit the boot command for Fedora by putting...

runlevel 1

at the end, this will boot up and log you in as root without needing a password.
