Dead Boardsies

So, this thread is probably going to die a death but something in another post just made me think, frada told pighead he thought he was dead cos he hadn't been on in so long.

So, wouldn't it be weird, if one day, someone like, frada, or pighead, or sharpshooter etc just stopped posting, like, if half of these people were to die, we'd never know, they would just disappear....

I think that's kinda freaky considering I've gotten used to the same people and if I see a username I don't recognise now I automatically look at their number of posts to see if they're a newbie.

have you ever thought about this before? or has a regular poster just vanished without a reason?

Yeah, some posters have actually died, there was a thread on this a few months ago. Somebody then started one in Feedback asking for a list of dead posters, that was quickly locked.

Well Frada made a mistake there as from my understanding a new person is accused of being Pighead each day. Thus it's not that hard to cop that Pighead's immortal/a conspiracy.

on another forum i was on, nexopia.. i used to moderate a photoshop forum with another guy. for like a year we made signatures for people, chatted and helped each other learn the program.

then he died in car crash and his page turned into a memorial. very very strange feeling.


edit: canadian website, he wasn't in ireland.

edit 2: i have over 10,000 posts on that site, part of me thinks nexopia > boards :P

Many dead Boardsies have become "born again" under different profiles after being banned. It would not take much for admin to do a bit of detective work and check up IP addresses.
