80's Tabletop Hi-Fi Systems.

Anyone remember the old "squat" tabletop hi-fi systems? (Scratch that, I'm sure most of ye will!).

For the benefit of those that don't, they were usually built in a pseudo "wood" box, designed to sit flat on a counter-top.

The record player was on top, along with (usually) a tape / tape recorder. The radio was in the "front" of the system.

They'd also have a transparent plastic lid / cover on them.

Can't find any pics on the 'tinternet, but that's probably cause I don't have a breeze what exactly to search for! :)

Anyways, if anyone has pics of one or links, I'd love to see them!
