I only know 1 who recommended the site to me.

Yup,the people on my friends list are people I know well from real life, though once in a while you will see somebody posting about something that sounds quite familiar and realise who it is, just like the time that my photo popped up in the "Know your nerds" thread in a group, or when somebody was giving advice to somebody else about the city we were both living in and it turned out that I had randomly met them already.

I know people from boards as a result of being here, and met some.

Ive never openly admitted to anyone that I use boards. Mainly because the family would have me sanctioned. They use the web but would never use a forum.
