Ann Summers Party - What to expect?

Has anyone ever been to one of these? One of my friends has invited me to one next week, as far as I know a rep is coming over to her apartment and we'll be drinking cocktails and things. What sort of stuff does the rep do? I'm just not sure what to expect, it sounds like it'd be fun as long as I don't have to dress up in bondage gear or something! If anyone has been to one can you tell me what kind of things you did?

And a lot depends on how good/bad the rep actually is. I went to one once and it was awful, primarily because the rep doing the party was a hopeless sales person and was very insecure and flakey when it came to dealing with people...... so as a result the entire evening felt sort of awkward and strained.....esp the silly games she did.

Could be moderately entertaining if you had plenty to drink and a decent hostess, and it's a good opportunity to get a good look at the merchandise outside of one of their shops/website... I always feel uncomfortable in their shops:o

Do leave the credit card at home though, otherwise you'll buy all manner of ridiculous things as a result of copious amounts of pinot grigio/vodka/beer/insert as appropriate....

They're not as bad as everyone are make out!!

Sure you get new slutty names, try on crotchless underwear over your clothes and such :eek:

But you're surrounded by your friends who are getting just as humiliated as you are!! After a while (and a few drinks) it can be great craic

Oh and I recomend you buy something, Ann Summers do really good bras and stuff, and if you've drank enough go on that rampant rabbit looks nice

ok now dont jump on me ladies lol but i was an anne summers rep at one point ..
now everything is done for fun and also to boost sales ..

example if we can get someone to model a nice fitting/uplifting bra the guests get to see what it looks like on real girls therefor may think of buying one !!

its aim is to please .. to create a good atmosphere and enjoy the fun ..
there will be games played and "toys" passed around but its entirely up to you to take part ..

you dont ave to do anything your no comfy with you can just say no !

my advice would be get there an hour or so befor the rep is due have a few beers to lighten the mood and try to remember it only a laugh

I've been to a few.. some were soooo bad, tumbleweeds blowing through the room.. some were great craic, was at one a few weeks back and I have to say the girl who did it was fantastic, she was funny and the games were gas, she really made the most of it, we played loads of games, usually they're a bit on the crap side and everyone kinda lolled for the sake of it but they were great.. I don't know if I'm the only one but, does anyone else get a bit 'weirded' out when they hand around the dildos ??? I don't know why, it just seems a bit, icky.. Specially when the hostess stards rubbing them off your face and stuff... ewwwww

plenty of drink and a good rep, makes for a good party.

your rep will probably grasp the group "dynamic" after a small while and would know how to handle it.

Good fun and hostess gets a good discount too!
