Im a forgetter. I repeatedly promise to return things, then forget about it. Not out of badness, just scattiness.

If I held an open day at my house for the owners to come by and claim back their things, there would be fúck all left - bar fixtures and fittings.

As all my books are on a €250 E-reader - nope, not giving it away! :D

    Nice. ASL OP?

Anyway, I keep my books. I sometimes loan them to people but it pisses me off when I repeated go to their place and the book is sitting there untouched. If you're not going to read it don't borrow it off me.

OP, were you trying to say the following:
When I finish reading a book, I give it away and don't expect it to be returned. What do you do?

I don't know what the OP was trying to say , but I would reckon that comes close.

btw , OP , must be expecting this thread to run and run , judging by the close date for the poll.

I find books an excellent source of toilet paper if I've run out... so I'd keep it... in the bathroom.

Ok presuming the OP meant what Dudess said then I usually keep my books. Not for any real reason but I just like having all the books that I've read.

The last book I read I gave on a loan to a friend, but I do expect it back.

So.. Its more bout the lending out rather than the borrowing?

    *facepalm*

Has Tequila sobered up yet, or what?

In that case Im going to sound like a wánker. I never return, but rarely lend. As Mark said, I love keeping my books and often re-read.

what the fúck is this thread about?

    It really is quite simple.
when you finish the reading book

When you finish the reading book i.e. when you finish reading the reading book, which is the book you are reading - or possibly a book from Reading - anyway, when you finish reading the reading book from Reading which you're reading...
i would give to somone and not return

Ms. Tequila would make a charitable donation and dissappear.
    what would you do?

I would pick up English as She is Spoke.

(The) walls have ears. >> The walls have hearsay.
He crawls / He is crawling. >> He go to four feet.
Is the road safe? >> Is sure the road?
He knows how to ride a horse. >> He know ride horse.
He who doesn't object, consents. >> That not says a word, consent.
What does he do? / What is he doing? >> What do him?
I think I'm going to be sick. >> I have mind to vomit.
This lake seems like it's full of fish. Let's have some fun fishing. >> That pond it seems me many multiplied of fishes. Let us amuse rather to the fishing.
I know very well what I have to do and what my responsibilities are. >> I know well who I have to make.

Book a seat , and grab the popcorn so.

I have to admit , I keep all my books.
Not a good thing to do , as I tend to get behind on my reading and sometimes buy the same book twice.:o
