Any good gyms close to North Circular Road?

    Hi all,

    Just moved up to Portman Road off North Circular Road!

    Just wondering in the surrounding area is there any decent gyms, had a stroll around and all I could find was the one over Phibsbourgh Shopping Centre.

    Any swimming pools either?

    Just on another note bit of a statement from me here but such a heavly populated part of the city and the facilities for locals/children etc is shocking :o

    Westwood Fairview is 2km up the road
    Sanovitae in the IFSC Clarion is 1km-1.5km away.

    Both of swimming pools. I'm not saying they're good or bad just that they're your two nearest options

    Botanic Gardens are up the road!
    Edit: well it's a bit of a walk with kids but it's a great facility :)
