Default printing as normal - using High Contrast XP Settings

    Hi all,

    I know a lad who's visually impaired and who uses the XP High Contrast setting on his PC. He uses MS Word with a default font of 30 when typing.

    School assignments have to be handed in on paper which takes up a lot of time because his work has to be adjusted to size 12 by someone else before it can be printed at home.

    Is there any way to set the printer to print at size 12 no matter what size the document is typed?

    I've never discovered a way to do this. It's just something he'll have to get used to.

    What does his visiting teacher say?

    It's not that difficult to readjust the size of essays etc. to the font size desired by teachers/lecturers. Just an extra couple of seconds really. If it's an issue of having the pages in order just make sure they pages are numbered and get the person who normally helps to check they're in the right sequence.

    Surely he has a magnifier or something too, which would help him with this?
