    Not wishing to be insulting, but by the standards of the hobby, I might be considered Methuselah.
    I'm actually a model-maker, but in the 80s, yes...80s, I could never find one person interested in RPGs. Hey it's one of those things I never got to do.
    I have no interest on fantasy RPGs, and I'm a huge Lovecraft fan.
    (Yes I could play Cthulhu Nation online, but i grew bored with computer games in the mid-90s, MUDs, MMORPHs, PC, mainframe,etc)

    Depends on where you live.

    I'm from the south east (Waterford) and gaming groups are few and far between. You'll usually find its a group of close friends that meet through work or college. W.I.T or UCC/C.I.T have gaming clubs you might be able get contact information from them. Speaking of UCC not to mention warpcon is on this day next week

    you'll have gamers from all over ireland and epically the south and south east attend that RPG convention. You might be able to meet a group there.

    I don't really role play myself anymore, i attend con's when i can but i know several people that do and con's are really great places to meet new people.
