Ryanair pulling Shannon

Have heard a nasty rumour that Ryanair are not able to reach agreement with the Shannon Airport Authority on future costs and have now threatened to pull out of Shannon. I believe all employees have been asked to select an alternative base. Little bit 2 faced considering O'Leary gave out stink about Aer Lingus abandoning…

Routes being terminated on 30th March are:

Berlin, Gdansk, Katowice, Luton and Newcastle.

Reduction will be seen on the following routes:

Malaga will be cut from 6 flights a week to 4

Alicante 3 to 2

Barcelona 5 to 4

Krakow 3 to 2

Murcia 4 to 3

Palma 3 to 2

Wroclaw 3 to 2

That's a shame. I wanted to go to Luton in July. Can I fly out of Cork or do I need to go to Dublin?

Aer Arann used to run a flight from Galway to Luton which was handy for Clare people, I don't know if they still do.
