    hi there,

    i'm looking for a gym recommendation around christ church. some one recommended the ivy but i can't find website:confused:

    any ideas?

    There is also a community gym in marrowbone lane. Either pay as you go, weekly or 3 monthly. Has all the equipment but no pool. Also does classes for next to nothing. There is also one in smithfield. Not sure of the name.

    i joined yesterday. the joining fee was 250, then they quicky said 100 and then after 10 minutes i got them down to 50 for the joining fee. i also got the student rate-they don't ask for student cards:rolleyes:

    so 50 joinging fee and 50 monthly. i'm happy enough with that since it's so close to me.

    I was a member of the Iveagh in 2002 for a few months. That the pool area and plunge pool were very grotty. Maybe it has improved since.
