losing weight when not really heavy

    heya

    ok im 6 ft 2 and pretty broad and 13 stone! just stopped smoking ! what the best way to lose weight and get toned when u nt naturally very heavy! god this sounds stupid when typed up but thanks anyway :)

    the same way it is when you are?

    burn more calories than you take int..

    eat less.

    exercise more..

    always the same..

    Exactly what ntlbell said.

    Clean up your diet, start doing cardio and lift weights. Do that, and you'll start losing the pounds.

    FJ, I know what you are getting at, I've been the same myself, just want to lose a bit, not even a stone.

    You can't beat regular exercise, but as a short term measure, 2 weeks of the Atkins diet, I usually lose 6-8 pounds. It's quite boring though, just fat & protein, no more than 20g carbohydrate a day, which you have to be very strict about. It does work though.
