I was watching Christy Moore on TG4 on New Years Night and i heard some great songs that i had never heard before. I was thinking of making a CD of his top 20 songs. What songs should definetly be included?

Have a listen out for Micky Mclhatton, written by Bobby Sands in Hblocks Christy & Dec put the music to it.

    Brilliant

Very true - was at one of the vicar street gigs just gone and you could tell there was alot of people who were singing along to this song as if it was wrote for them.

Another vote here for Hattie Carroll

christy's 14 min version of the rose of tralee song.... great song with a great story to it, you have to add that in.

And you will never go wrong with Joxer goes to stuggart o and my other favourite is The Reel in the Flickering Light.

A Stitch in Time from 'The Time has Come Album'. It's a great song,

I also love 'A Pair of Brown Eyes' written by Shane McGowan,

I really believe that LITTLE MUSGRAVE is christy's best song by far. The story of how he found the lyrics in a ruin somewhere makes it even better...
