What's your REAL New Years Resolution (like, for real)

Ok, so I'm not going to be rich, or famous, or slimmer, or rich this time next year. Realistically.
But there's 2 hours of this year left and I'll be spending them alone, in front of the telly/boards, sloshing back some bud light (in a vain attempt to find some flavour in there bahdump!!!), munching on the dregs of the Quality street tin whilst wearing a grubby pair of tracksuit bottoms, all with a vague sense of emptiness in the pit of my stomach.

My resolution (and it shouldn't be hard), is to never have a moment as depressing as this in 2009.

I feel like an extra on Peep Show: the comedown version.

I'd rather think of it more as sad, not depressing.
Maybe I'm a glass half full person after all.

Marry her and then do all of the above but not in that order?

Make sure your parents do not hire a girl to pretend to be your girlfriend to try and get you out of their house. It always ends up in love. Danger will robinson DANGER!!!

1920x1080 is a resolution for yuppies. ordinary complacent boring folk who live in estates/apartments. if you want to be kool you need an oddball resolution like 1920x2160 or something. cause having all that desktop space probably means you're a l33t hacker or watch an awful lot of pr0n at the same time

"Don't get shot" is up there on my list, somewhere. As is "don't get blown up."

Get rid of credit card and car loan debt would be nice too.

Of course, as soon as I do, I'll promptly re-start it again.

    NTM

None so far, I like to tackle problems straight away, not wait for the end of the year/start of the new one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,662 ✭✭✭Trinity

I never make them mostly because i'm a lazy fcuk that cant stick to anything and lack any will power whatsoever.

But this year.....I am going to try limit my drinking to 2 nights a week. Supposed to stop drinking tonight :(

I am going to try make an effort to go to the gym as well, i'm not gonna even try a diet theres no point i love my unhealthy food too much and hate healthy food. I like to enjoy what i'm eating and not eat for the sake of it.

In fact am getting Eddie Rockets now! mmmmmmmmm
