Don't have a TV. So at least I'm not paying a dodgy licence fee to be bored :D

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

And carrying it upstairs would be an event in itself. Personally I'm going to start reading the Granta book of the American short story, vol 2. Although a dvd would be so much less effort. :( Ah whiskey and ginger ale...*slurps*

I think it would be a valuable study to check how long couples stay married after the proposal was done in such public circumstances. I'm sure the average marriage term length is higher for those who do it outside the public eye but only by sheer numbers.

Not being completely down about public proposals but it just bangs a little of an attempt to save the relationship rather than true respect for the other half. The programme Cheaters is a prime example of why people would want their private life open to public view....to set the other half up!

I suppose I would just be devasted if I asked in public and was turned down...some stuff should be done in private methinks!

Boo-urns Mr. public proposal guy! Down with this sort of thing! :pac:

If he was in front of me now, Tubridy would be getting a shoe, dead centre of his Sam Maguire head.

I would of course leave my foot in there, accompanied by the rest of my person.

I don't have much time for him anymore, although the show raises an occasional chuckle (anyone see it a few weeks ago where yer wan festooned him with, I dunno, whipped cream or something? Anyway, he started it).

His radio show is gone downhill IMO.

Anyway, staying in, epic-fact is none of my mates are out, damn recession. It will be all kicking off Monday.

Boards beers eh? I didn't know it was on tonight!

Go forth and procreate boardsies! Make more opinionated kiddies for us to try and shoot down with our half a wit and quotes to beat the band!

I actually beat the band once - they weren't too happy about it at the time but we're great friends now! :pac:

I agree. I had to leave the room when my aunt put him on.

These Saturday nights in are becoming more and more common. Usually because I end up in the sprawling metropolis of Waterford and don't fancy getting my legs sawn off :pac:

Add in an average of 2/3 nights out a (mid) week in Dublin and it makes perfect sense.

Also, the Photography beers are on tomorrow. Hmmm. Could possibly meet up with some of the Body mod heads.
