    Pfft. Firefox is so 2007.
Chrome is the nuts, i'm greeted my top 9 most visited pages, resized for my convenience.

+1 brother. Chrome is where it's at. Unless you want to send mails through hotmail....then not so much.

    iGoogle.

All the cool kids use iGoogle.

Because it has a lower case 'i' before the 'Google', that means it's cool.

There's an apostrophe after the 'i', it's not the same.

    FastDial: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5721 :)

    Extremely useful.

Once installed, go back to your Firefox options and use "current page" as your homepage setting.

    Same. Much easier.
My regular sites are always there, plus a couple of new ones. Love the preview pane.

Not liking the chrome thingy. Look up one questionable site and you need to look up 9 other "family friendly" ones more than it. Seriously who's non-porn to porn SITE ratio is 9:1 or higher?! And dont give me that incognito bull cause you don't be thinking straight at times...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,505 ✭✭✭✭DirkVoodoo

I could never get used to that igoogle, though a lot of people I know use it as a homepage. I never bothered customising mine though.

None. It just loads all the tabs I had open from last time. If I had none open it's the chrome new tab screen.

Ah nice, didn't know about that. The only useful and stand out feature of Chrome now in Firefox. Although FastDial could have come out first who knows.

See that's why I'll stick with Firefox, add-ons.

Adblock, DownThemAll, Video Downloader, Web Developer, Flash block, etc. You just can't get them integrated in any other browser.

When I browse the net on a PC in the college I'm amazed with how much advertisements there are on places like hotmail, big flashy intrusive ads, one of which decided to take over my screen every few minutes.

With adblock removing all ads, and "collapsing" the space they previously held, your saving a hell of a lot of bandwidth, i.e. fast loading times.

Totally agree but I wish Firefox and Chrome came together and had a baby for a truly ultimate browser. I would call it Chrox.
