I take protein caps twice a day once before and after training. The problem is they are like horse tablets there flippin huge and i find them difficult to swallow sometimes. Does anyone thing it would be ok to empty the contents of the cap into water and drink it that way or is better for it to stay in the capsule swallowed

    Sounds like a suppositry !
I reckon u could empty in to a drink no prob, or try using a shake instead or even get your protein via food.

Do you have a link to these protein capsules? Or do you mean amino acid tablets?

If they're really hard to take why not switch to a protein powder? Or just increase the protein content of your diet (more chicken, eggs, milk etc.).

They also feature in a David Bowie song!

I think what you have are branched-chain amino acids. Whatever you do, don't go viewing them as some sort of food substitute. Have a look into pre & post workout nutrition that is suitable for your goals.
