On Friday evening the World Strong Man series from Norway was on TV. It was recorded back in July this year.

Lots of massive guys lifting heavy stuff in events such as:
    • The Viking Press
    • Tire Flips
    • Stone Lifting
    • Walking Yoke Lift
    • Last Man Standing Deadlift

The most interesting was the last man standing deadlift. Each competitor continues in the comp as long as they can equal or improve upon the deadlift of the others.

I found it quite inspirational watching this deadlifting (as I'm probably never going to get into tire flipping or the other strong man events :pac:). There were about 4 guys left when the weight got to 400kg.

Kevin Nee then lifted 410kg to win, mistakenly thinking he was only lifting 405kg.

    Check it out. Inspirational stuff!

Here's my favourite deadlift video. Largely because the guy calls it a "death lift", uses a hook grip at 390kgs and seems to be having fun!
