Argos will sort you out for a basic 50kg set.
There is an Argos on Cruises St Limerick

http://www.irish-lifting.com for more heavy and better equipment. Dublin based but have a courier so maybe they can do Limerick. Comes highly recommed anyway :)
Pm mickk,a poster on boards if you've questions

This is the argos set http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/3008250/Trail/searchtext%3E50KG.htm
do not buy the cheapo plastic vinyl cement ones, they are crap. Or go with micks, lowest be now sells is a 140kg olympic set though.

    140kg set.
A 50kg from Argos might be fine for you but you'll soon outgrow it. Do not buy the plastic kit
And believe me I was pretty damn weak at one stage, benching 25kg in the gym and watchhing guys benching 60kg as a warmup :(
But doing what I can to improve and more then doubled that but longs way to go yet

Give Mick a buzz anyway and see what you sort out.
And look at it like this! A gym might cost you 700 euro per year. For that money you can get a weights set, proper runners and gym clothes. Work out at your own pace

I forget to mention, if you buy a 140kg set and a bench, Mickk may give you an upgrade. I got a great free upgrafe worth over 100 euro but to be fair I placed a big order.

Haggle like a cattle dealer!! No mercy given or received!:pac:
The worst that can happen is someone says no and even then, in these tough times people want your business. Well maybe not a big company like Argos but there are deals to be had. Good luck :)

So if you want to send a pm (private message) you can. :)

But if you want to call the guy http://www.irish-lifting.com/index.php the number is here. And I'm very happy with the service but I'm a random stranger on the internet so search boards and see what others thought.
Do not take my word for it although I'm here since 2004 and you can see this in my profile.

    Thanks for info man! :)

    Check here for bargains

    and ask for bargains here

www.Irish-lifting.com is a great store and really good quality and prices. But you are talking about heavy stuff, so shipping stuff like that in from outside Ireland would be massive cost. There are not many other internet shops for electrics etc, as when the weight goes down, so does the postage.
