If we go bankrupt, we'll just push the EU to give us more money by pretending we'll pass the lisbon treaty if they do.

We'll take irish back as well... they are of no use to ye now, except the fact that they own everything worth money over there, except the queen, but we don't want her.

No. We will unearth the corpse of Michael Collins, reanimate him with the last of our beer money and send him to London on a cyborg killing and plundering spree. Simple, really.

No, unlike Scotland, we have we can support ourselves, Ireland has been through harder times then this and it'll survive this as well, I don't know why people are of the opinion that Ireland has falling into oblivion, this Reccesion will blow over eventually just like the Wall Street Crash and the Oil Crisis, We just have to pull together and destory the single most evil thing in this country that is ruining it. FIANNA FAIL and then we can focus on Gangland crime and Health Care as well as the economy

America seems to be in the sh!ter.
Shouldn't it happen to them too?

If you may think people are saying no because they want to remain Irish and not British, then take the neutral view of America being ruled by London again.

    So
    Hells
    no.

scotland still maintains its distinct culture and legal system while having the benefits of being under the UK umbrella. The last poll for supporting an independent scotland was something like less than a third.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    why?

RBS/HBOS banking crisis, bailout by UK taxpayers certainly the Scots were happy, SNP vote fell, Labour whose vote was on the decline in Scotland managed to win a key by election as a result.
