    Hi All,

Just wondering if any of you would be interested in this fundraising idea.

The main aim is to raise funds for Our Ladys Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

Basically it is 2009 in 2009.

The plan is to get an individual or team to run/walk 2009 kms in 2009 to raise €2009 (per individual/team) for Crumlin.

It is an achievable target for all.
Plus the fact that you can do it in a team will open it up to people who only run/walk a couple of nights a week.
Team members don't have to do the kms with each other, they can do the distance on their own and just add their totals.

People can fundraise for it any way they wish.

The aim would be to get people to email/post their weekly totals at the end of each week and then chart the actuals against the targets to gauge progress.

There are 2 good outputs from it,

    1. People will get fit/keep fit
    2. Raise money for the hospital

What do you guys think? Is it something you or your friends would be interested in?

Post your replies here or PM me.

    Cheers,

    Jason
