    Smith's Salt 'n' Vinegar (Oz)

    Microsoft Zune perhaps

I overdosed on Mountain Dew after guzzling it in the US for too many years, but the ocassional slug is still nice.

My brother still obsesses about it, saying that "to be Mountain-Dewed, is to be refreshed by bottled goodness" :D

A lot of health food shops seem to stock root beer, have you tried one?

By the looks of it yes. Unfortunately the majority of my contacts are law abiding.

I'm sure the OP meant as in what would one like to be available widely, as in on the shelf, so to speak.

    Can you get Crackerjacks here?

You can get 500ml bottles of Dr. Pepper in Limerick.

I'd like to see cans and 500ml bottles of Mountain Dew. Also Sobe softdrinks - again an American product.

Rice -A-Roni - The San Francisco Treat :pac:

    Taco Bell

Sourdough Bread from Safeway in the States. The stuff here is muck.

Bottles of Red Stripe Beer & Sierra Nevado Beer.

**** it would be easier if I just moved to the States.

For all Dr Pepper addicts - you need to get your collective asses across the border to Newry or Lisburn and stock up on the stuff.

Just one advantage of living near the border ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,706 ✭✭✭120_Minutes

    Panera Bread
    Taco bell
    Yeungling beer
    beef jerky
    ranch dressing
dunkin doughnuts (krispy kremes are horrible)
    good weed
    good hash
    good weather

    al available in the USA...coincidentally.

Actually yeah, I havent had one in years but that would be a great idea.

I would have said vanilla coke but they discontinued the line about 2 years ago :( That was good stuff.

How about some decent Ice Cream? Before Aldi and Lidl came about, you couldnt find anything but a cardboard box full of artificially flavored vanilla shyte. I mean, you couldnt even get vanilla right. Thats just sad.

    +1 on the Dunkin Donuts
I remember there were a few Dunkin Donuts places in Dublin years ago. There was one where I lived -- The apple ones were the nicest:) Havn't seen a Dunkin Donuts store in years though...they must have pulled their business out of the country.

I think Fanta anywhere but Ireland tastes like water, as far as I know, we're the only place in the world where they use real oranges in Fanta.

Dr. Pepper is available in any Spar that I know of in Dublin, I drink it all the time

They did, some Shell garages used to stock them, loved 'em.
They're doing really well in the states now though, expanding rapidly whereas Starbucks are closing, and Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds coffee beat Starbucks in taste tests, so I'm hopeful for a return! There's Krispy Kremes available all over London now too, so maybe we'll get those eventually!

    Super cans.

I don't think I've had one of them since 1984.

    I want some Cherry Coke.
Got some in Armagh a few years back. Still can't find it anywhere this side of the border though.

Sainsbury's in Newry sell that, if you're in dire need of a little pick me up.:)
I'd love if they sold those savoury 'biscuits' in KFC the way they do in the Us. They're like little salty scones, they just go lovely with the chicken....mmmm! I love their pancakes and maple syrup too( American ones not kfc's).

We used to have Dunkin Donuts here but it was crap. Krispy Kreme is much better.
