Need to extend Wireless signal to back garden...

Hi, Friend of mine has a converted garage and is looking to get the signal from his house out to the garage, its about 50-60feet away from the wireless router.

Is there a booster type thing you can get or will another router in the garage work?

Its eircom, and the current one he has is the 2247 netopia irc.

t'would help to know what type of gear he will be using at the other end, e.g. desktop or laptop, locations of the router etc. 60 feet is not that much distance for a cable, and for reliability it would be best to run an ethernet cable from the router out to the shed, if this is not possible have you tried to check if the wireless signal can be picked up in the shed ?. alternatively you could use a pair of those evil mains networking devices :eek:
