hey all. just have a quick question and need some help.Im 6 foot 1. I used to be 16 stone 2 pounds about three years ago. I got down to 14 stone quite quickly and go through phases of being relatively fit and relatively unfit with little weight fluctuation. at present I am 13 and a half stone and have started sticking to a fitness regime for once and proper diet.

I do 30 min cardio sessions 4 days a week and play rugby match once a week. I can run a 10 k in 38 minutes

I do a 3 day split routine consisting of supersets.chest and arms one day , legs another, shoulders back and core another day.

I eat porridge and fruit for breakfast
chicken brown rice veg for lunch
just 2 or three chicken breasts for dinner
I also have a protein shake after workout and snack on nuts.

I noticed that I am toning up and looking more muscular however still have slightly embarrassing problem. I still have slightly fatty deposits in my lower chest behind my nipple. It isnt noticeable straight after a few pumps of chest excercises but is when there is not as much blood flowing into the pec. I know that you cannot spot reduce fat but any help on the removal of this fat would be appreciated???? maybe I just need to keep working away aned give it time. will it eventually go if I keep improving my cardio?? thanks guys

Sounds like a silly Q. but what age are you?.

As teens and even men in their 20's can show signs of gynecomastia, are your nipples sore and tender, or lumpier than the surrounding fats?.

gave up the sauce for november. i do booze on occasion nothing major. I used to be able to get very fit and lean in a short space of time .. maybe its just my metabolism slowing down.maybe I just have to dedicate myself fully to conditioning and not fall off the wagon as much or for as long. I still have a bit of a belly also , so maybe it just means iv got to keep improving fat loss and eventually the chest fat will shift. or maybe lipo?? just kidding

If you have a bit of a belly then why are you surprised? You can't spot reduce fat so you need to keep exercising.

Why don't you chill out on the supersets and do some standard sets lifting heavy and keep doing cardio after each sessions like 10 - 12 mins of HIIT and progressing from there

cool thanks. well not a huge ned as such just a coating. ya can still see my abs like just surprised that my chest hasnt toned up as fast. im doing my weights at the moment like a circuit with minimal rest times between sets and exercises. im fairly tired after it so iv been doing the cardio at a later time in the day so iv recovered enough to improve on my last cardio session. maybe ill just go back to standard sets for the weights and hitt cardio straight after. thanks entrapreneur. its not that I don't understand fitness , fat loss etc. I know about non spot reduction. I was just probably lookin for a quick solution to a specific problem.thanks for the advice it is appreciated

No problem, another thing you should do is drink lots of water, I'm 205lbs and I need to be drinking over 5 litres a day. I don't do it all the time mind you but it's what my body wants and needs.

I think you should go back to standard sets and do high intensity stuff at the end of the session. It could be just what your body needs.

Thats actually very good, simply/basic advice.

For the majority of people supersets, negatives, giant sets, drop sets etc are counter productive unless you have your rest & diet absolutely spot on.

People often make the mistake of turning something simple like building muscle and getting fit into a science, major mistake in most cases.

    It works.
