    Guys,

Do you have any idea how to set up Meteor 3G on HTC TOuch Diamond?

I called the customer support, but unfortunately the operator told me that HTC is not supported by Meteor 3g.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone can help me with this.

They should have escalated you request to their technical support who would email you the settings you require; or the closest possible they have.

    Thank you for the replies.

I have the MMS settings all right. Its just the 3G/HSDPA that is not working. I couldnt even use the EDGE.

I have emailed them, not reply yet.

    1. Press start
    2. Select settings
    3. Select connection settings tab
    4. Select connection setup
    5. Select Ireland from Drop Down Menu for country
    6. Select Meteor Mobile for Operator
    7. Hit OK
    8. Follow any remaining instructions on screen

If this doesn't work you can manually enter them

    1. Press start
    2. Select settings
    3. Select connection settings tab
    4. Select connections
    5. Select add a new modem connection
    6. Name for connection is Meteor Internet
    7. Select a modem: Select Celluar Line (GPRS, 3G)
    8. Hit Next
    9. Access Point is wap.mymeteor.ie
    10. Hit Next
    11. User name is my
    12. Password I can't remember - I got this from meteor. You'll have to ring them unless someone else knows it
    13. Leave domain blank
    14. Hit Finish

    Hope this helps

Obviously for 3G to work you need to be in a 3G reception area

    Thank you very much.
    That works!

I thought wap is different from 3G. When I was using the internet, the network keep on changing between 3G and Edge.

    Anyway, thanks again.

    no problem

if you are in an area where 3g coverage is weak it will fluctuate between 3g and edge... personally in this situation I turn off 3g so i have a constant connection as sometimes I think when the connection is switching from 3g to edge that web-sites are slow to load

Anyway if you need anymore help with the phone drop me a PM. Don't read the forums all that often.

I used this post. Everytime it says "isp.mymeteor.ie" just change it to "data.mymeteor.ie".

    Worked perfectly otherwise.
