Had a very busy month in November. Probably these two though.

Fajitas!

Two from student protests at NCAD

One of the attendants minding the door, in anticipation of the Minister of Education arriving to open the Harry Clarke Building, while a crowd of miffed students protest outside.


The previous director looking out at the protests from the second floor staff room, on his second day after stepping down.



My cousins eldest. Shot on expired medium format 669 Polaroid instant film. I'm totally in love with the textures, softness and glow I'm getting off this stuff.

Of what I've seen, 1 & 3 are amongst the best I've seen on here.

Maybe investing in an education might have some merit after all, eh!

They all lived happily ever after but for a few minutes......

yeah i agree al, pretty cracking shots. love the last one especially, getting into film big time at the mo, just ordered a ir filter and film off sevenday, cheap deals there with packs close to sell date, well ir 'effect', yet to see whats the malarky about it is, Ilford SFX film, used it?

Actually they're all from the same day aswell, I took a bunch of shots in the morning on my SQAi and a couple on 35mm ...

I got the same think from 7dayshop, the cokin filter & 3 films. I've got some examples up on my stream, do a tag search for SFX. Its only 'mildly' IR, although I wasn't really shooting in conditions that would really show it up. Great thing is that you can shoot it handheld though, most of the IR filtered ones there are. On a bright day you can -just- see enough through the viewfinder to compose, and I was shooting at about f/5.6 at 1/30 or something , I forget the exact details.

Most of my pictures from November seem to involve water damage from a leak or damaged shower fittings, which are terribly dull unless you're planning on fixing either of them for me.
