IPT Satellite - Red Cow Hotel - Fri 12th to Sun 14th December - €2,000 Added

    I am happy to announce that I will be hosting a stop on the Party Poker Irish Poker Tour on December 12th-14th(inclusive) in the Red Cow Hotel, Business Centre.

    Friday 12th will be a €50+€10 with 1 ReBuy @ €30 satellite into the main event
    Sat 13th Will be the €320+€30 Main Event (2 day)
    Sunday 14th is €200+€20 Side Event (1 day)


    1. Who is running the event (organisation, society etc.)
    JP Poker

    2. The purpose of the event (charity, commercial etc.)
    Commercial

    3. Date and Location of event
    Main Event Starts Sat 13th December, Super satellite also on the 12th and side event on the 14th(3 day festival)

    4. Registration and Start time of event.
    Reg. open from 2p.m. Sat 13th, 4:00p.m. Kick Off

    5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc)
    Membership required, although it is free and can be done on the day.

    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.)
    Tickets can be purchased in advance from the casino at any time.

    7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.)
    Texas hold'em Freeze-Out

    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.
    €320+€30 Main Event

    9. Cost of registration
    €30

    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund
    100% of €320

    10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much
    3 Tickets will be award to the IPT Final (€2,000 Each) although only €4,000 is taken out of the prizepool as €2,000 is added to the main event.

    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels.

    The only difference is that the side event will be a 30 minute clock without the 600-1200 and 6000-12000 blinds.

    16. Blind timeframes
    45 Minute Levels throughout. Blinds may be rolled back at discretion of TD

    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash (free entry to other tournie, merchandice etc)
    Approx. 10% of field paid, Tickets aswell as cash awarded to top 3.

    18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill
    All professional croupiers and poker dealers.

    19. Will there be a documented list of rules
    Yes, Available upon request.

    20. Is there a tournament director - JP Mc Cann

    21. How are disputes handled - who has final say.
    TD has final say on all matters/disputes.

    22. Are there any cash games offered, if so, please outline the rake for each limit offered.
    Cash games available from opening times each day of the festival.
    Rake is as follows:

    €1/€2 Game is €5 pp/phh

    Just to let everyone know the top 5 players will be awarded tickets to the IPT with €8,000 coming out of the prize pool as €2,000 will be added.

    Yep this is the last of the tour games with the €2,000 added, I know the Eglinton will have a super sat a few days before the festival itself.

    I'll definitely be there too. You'd need a very good reason to ever miss a JP multiday tournament, and I lack a very good reason.

    To be honest I was excepting between 60-80 and I've been getting alot of calls from people I don't asking me to keep them a seat. Might break the 100.

    Hi Jp i would have loved to play this , unfortunately im away for the wk end so goodluck with it , not that you need it anyway.
    I was thinking of doing a sat for the IPC in Dundalk on the 21st ,im just not sure if the date is too close to xmas for players to turn up. I will stick a new thread up and see how it goes.

    Friday night is a satellite into Saturday's game. I'm expecting approx 30-40 players with one ticket for 4.4 players if every1 rebuys, so close to 10 Tickets

    Sunday starts at 4pm, we will have 1 table SnG's and cash tables from 2pm.

    We will probably be starting the Final table of the €350 game around 2pm

    hey James,

    Give me a buzz when your party is over and I'll be able to tell you better. But My guess is that the game will finish around 1am. We will keep going while there are players there, my guess abut 4am
