If I was to build up the site myself for a once off international event, and I could have anywhere at all, I'd want the USS Eisenhower or at least Ticonderoga. Proper tight passageways and densely packed rooms. Ship fighting is bloody scary and a place where the likes of P90s, shotguns and pistols reign supreme. Hardcore men-from-boys stuff.

A tad more achievable would be one of the aircraft graveyards in Nevada. A couple of hundred planes across a couple of hundred acres would make for some interesting scenarios that would keep everyone happy.

Closer to home, there aren't many I can think of, but there's a few UK sites I haven't tried yet that I'd love to. Combat South - Urban being way up on the list.

Around St James street (The whole Guinness area) where I'm working right now has some fantastic and in many cases derelict buildings which would be amazing to play in and around. There's also an abandoned HSE building in Cork, which was on the news a few months back. That place is huge.

Eh, my school, an aircraft carrier, The airsoft site in the UK on an old RAF base w/ 2 underground stories (I'll try find that issue of Ai), mount rushmore, the alps, dundrum(I invisage good choke points every visit), buckingham palace, New York subway system(minus the trains).

If they do close most the internals of that factory would probably be sold on. The factory floor would be bare so the building would be just one massive room with nothing in it.

The offices would be good though. It's probably all prefab too so you could bust through walls and make it look really cool.

Having worked there and seen alot of the inside, there are plenty of walls and small offices and stuff even if they do move most of the internals

The offices would work no doubt but you'd be surprised how much of the factory stuff would be removed. All that conveyor stuff can easily be dismantled and sold on, there almost like Lego. Could easily be turned into a warehouse/customs setting though. it's so big you could fit any old junk in there even buses I'd say.

I wonder who'll own it after Dell. I'm assuming it would take another multinational to find a use for a factory that big, meaning it'll be left to rot.

Here, I mentioned this place before! Check it out on Google maps, it's massive. It's been procured for the DIT, they intend to build their new campus there. I say intend; the odds of them getting it together and succeeding are pretty small on past performance...

Hahaha, I'm taking the mickey. I'm still annoyed that STALKER constantly crashed on my system. All I ever got to do in that game was throw bolts around before the whole thing went wallop.
It's amazing how detailed it was in the game, that's the first time I've seen a picture of the actual place.

The Google building, beside Grand Canal Dock. There's never anyone in there anyway, they're always outside smoking, and the real work gets donw by some guys in the States. But we'd need an airsoft player 'on the inside'.

My neighbour's been there. Although it's safe enough to visit for short periods, you wouldn't really want to hang around too long if you're thinking of having kids some day. And that's just for us blokes.

So, yes, you'd have to stop the game every 10 minutes - to check your dosimeter. Also a seriously spooky, and very sad, place.
