Boffer "Free Boff" starts 11.59pm on 30th November

    Just a heads up..

Everything from 11.59pm next Sunday on Boffer is free.. and as soon as one product is out of stock, it'll be replaced with another.

By "free", I mean there's presumably some I'd imagine you'll need a certain amount of kudos to apply for some items, and also shipping with presumbly apply (as will the surcharge on larger items). That's a lot of presumption!

But one of the freebies last week in the sell off (a 12 pack of batteries) was completely free - no price, no shipping charge, no surcharge.

    So worth a look definitely!

    Some more details here!

Stuff is fairly rubbish so far. So rubbish that I don't want it for free.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,194 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Picked up the 1GB SD card for €3.70... not amazing but not bad value either.

Might be picking up a digital camera for someone at Christmas so will come in handy.

Simple.. they use order numbers as unique identifiers / primary keys in their database. They inserted two orders with the order number 'B002616' - it obviously rejected the second one as it was already present.

No, you can't aggregate shipping costs.

No-one.. as it was free, and had no shipping charge.

I'm sure I've seen that sorta thing in Euro2 or some such place, so the 3stg delivery is a bit expensive.

    Monkey Picked Tea
    EDIBLE013A.jpg

Have you ever drank a cup of good old tea and said to yourself “I wonder who picked this”. No? Well we have, and it turned out to be just a bunch of normal people… How boring. So we decided to get some tea with a difference. Not only is it more delicious than normal tea, it’s also picked by monkeys. And no not people who aren’t too smart, proper monkeys.
Apparently this was first invented by a bunch of monks playing around with their monkeys (Hey they have to do something to pass those long years in worship). They found if you showed a monkey how to pick tea you could teach it to pick tea in those places that people could not reach. At one point in time it was a very big thing with monks due to the altitude at which the tea leafs were picked at giving the tea made from the leaf an excellent taste.
But sadly nowadays the practice of monkeys picking tea has all but died out, except in one small remote village where they still continue this remarkable tradition. And no, before you ask, No monkeys are harmed in order for us to bring this rare brew to you!
Each package is 57g (about 2oz) of the finest loose tea you'll ever taste. Each bag makes approx. 28 servings of tea. (Tea cup not included)

What was the hint? Boffer's system of fora isn't very intuitive so I haven't seen it.

I've used every email address I have to make twenty. I suppose it'll be upped to 25 soon enough.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,080 ✭✭✭✭Random

I can't even work out how to post in the forum!

Hints weren't great though. Maybe it was all just a ploy related to the fake jeans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,951 ✭✭✭fdevine

Obviously still some spanners clicking the boffer me button.....
