Boards.ie Photobook launch - will you be there?

Just trying to get numbers for the boards.ie Photobook launch on the 29th November.

The book launch will take place in Ryan's on Queen St, Dublin 7 on Saturday, November 29th, 2008 at 4pm.

Edit: Oh, and there will be some free sandwiches thanks to the lovely people in Ryan's pub. So if you say yes then will you please turn up! Don't want any of those tasty sambos going to waste!

Google maps tells me it's 5km away - how are you travelling?

Car will take you 15 mins.
Taxi will take you 30 seconds.
Walking will take an hour.
Public transport will take 8 years (or walk/Luas over to Connelly and get the Dart, alternatively walk/Luas down to Eden Quay (10-15 mins) and get a bus on out (20-30 mins)

shouldn't take you too long jen_23. Get the Luas to Connolly and the DART from Connolly to Sandymount. Provided you aren't waiting around for too long, then it should only take 30/40 minutes

Ill prob drive to the pub (Or hopefully bf might :P) So we can drive back to the hotel after and get a taxi to RDS.
After the show i'll pop back out again though assuming celebrations will still be ongoing! (i'm sure they will be )

If you want to PM me and tell me where the hotel is, I might be able to pick you up on the way. I have to drive as I've got the books, and if the hotel is anywhere on my way it would save you having to drop the car back afterwards.

I've got the books at the moment, and will drive to the pub (but then need to figure out somewhere to dump the car ). Will need help to bring the boxes from the car to the pub, so will be nabbing people for that.

What's the story with press? Any idea if any are turning up?

We have a press release statement so we just need to take photos ourselves and we'll send it out on sunday for the monday papers. spoke to a friend and he reckons that the best chance of it being picked up!

Thanks Mart, but as it happens I dumped them all on BuzzLightyear earlier, as I was discussing how I'd get rid of the car after dropping the book so that I could have a few drinks. I was going to drive in, drop the books, do the "launch", drive home, then get the bus back in for a few drinks, but as Buzz has to bring the car anyway for other reasons, he very kindly took the boxes from me.

Reminds me though, I better print out the list now or I'll forget it in the morning!
