hi fitz ,,, what is the starting stacks for each tournament ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 279 ✭✭derek2222_ie

no 75-150, 150-300, 500-1000 is this correct. all card rooms generally have these levels. is there a reason you are leaving them out. also starting stacks and rebuy amounts would be handy. cheers

    Hi,

the starting stack for each tourny is 10,000 except on deep stack nite it will be 15,000

Yes the starting stack is 10,000 so you would generally leave out those blinds as you can see we have no antes. the tournament is scheduled for almost six hours or more so value has been given to each tourny as the blinds are 20 mins except when tourny is 100 or over blinds will be 25 min each level.

I think what flushje is getting at is it says €10 freezout and then unlimeted rebuys , its either 1 or the other .

thanks for the response. I play a lot of games with a 10,000 starting stack that have to be finished within 4-5 hours and these games get between 60-80 runners and still manage to have all these levels (the blinds are 15 minutes but I would think you will have less time restraints)

Hi, if you want to know why I chose this blind structure I suggest you read "THE POKER TOURNAMENT FORMULA", by Arnold Snyder. The fitzpatricks tournaments are actually classified as "medium" speed by his system and have the right mix of luck and skill to work best with Snyder's methods.

I was only letting you know what was being offered by similar tournament organisers in the Tallaght area. It is also what most players expect as standard these days. I was not having a go. But if you need further clarification on my point you can read "the punters right to choose the best value game around"

Its at the Plaza Hotel, Tallaght.

Just beside the square shopping centre, where the Belgard Road and Tallaght bypass/Old Blessington Road meet

Best of luck with the opening...

I was telling the new management of the hotel today about your opening and anything they can do to help with special rates on accommodation or food they would be glad to help...

I will be there again all day tomorrow and thursday if you want to send me a Pm I can drop into you..

    Paul.

I just came from visiting this place and it really really looks faboulous!

The tables are like the one in silks (the real fancy one) The place was really looking the biz and I'm looking forward to this one..

I spoke to Wayne for the first time and he is a good enthusiastic young man and seems to have the right attitude regarding learning and adjusting structures as things proceed along...

a 50 euro buy in with 2 k added in a place like this is just too good to turn my nose up at but when you also add in a full buffet and a few drinks you cant go wrong :)

Some of us will also recognise a few top class dealers there too...

anyone that like the slots or roulette or blackjack wont be dissappointed...

Top recommendation from what I've seen so far anyway

Can someone tell me what the buy in is for this opening night event?
Is it the regular €55 for every Friday or is it different?
Also if you want to play and there is a maximum of 50, is there a way of booking a place or it is a first there sort of thing?

    Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

As far as I know if you leave you name here or PM wayne at fitzcasino as above he will register you..... He just told me to let him know by listing names here if I knew anyone wanted to register.

AFAIK it's 50 + 5 tomorrow night but dont hold me to that....

I'd be surprised if it doesn't sell out with the 2k added...

    What's the deal with parking?

I know the Plaza forecourt is 'park and display', hotel parking is validated if you are a customer does this apply to the casino?

As the Casino is launching tonight and lots of boardies (myself included) have posted here looking for answers to questions as well as trying to book seats for tonight I would have thought Fitzpatricks would be on here answering these questions.
